Shadows everywhere

lyrics

Moon shining down though the edge of a cloud and it's casting shadows on me. I can see what I think you've been trying to say but I could have read you wrongly. Stand in the sun in the glare of the light and you'll show your colours strongly. This array a display that you're sending my way well I could've read you wrongly.
Don't have to show me. It's buried in the depths of your soul it doesn't mean you don't know it.

I see through your hair it's the break of the day and I smell life flowing. I'm alive I'm on air, I'm on edge and I'm there and my emotion's overflowing.
Don't have to show me. Don't wave it in my face it's doesn't mean you don't know me.

I speak and you hear what you most fear. It's twisted and not consoling. I can see half the truth lies at the roots of all the shadows dancing on me.
You could just be you, I could just be me. We'd get on just fine that's what I feel. You could say your piece, I could try and make mine without second guessing every second time.

You could just be you, I could just be me. We'd get on just fine that's what I feel. I could say my piece & you could try & make yours without going round the houses then going to war.

Moon shining down though the edge of a cloud and it's casting shadows on me. I can see what I think you've been trying to say but I could have read you wrongly.
